Ticket sales cover less than half of the costs of presenting an opera. Please consider making a contribution to the Opera Company of Middlebury in order to keep live, professional opera in Vermont. The Opera Company of Middlebury is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of US law. Thank you.

OCM ANNUAL FUND

OCM’s commitment to professional live opera with full orchestra and a Young Artists Program has led to growing budget pressures. Ticket sales (37% of our budget), membership gifts (40%), and grants alone cannot address the fiscal realities of a non-profit arts organization in 2020. With administrative costs a mere 6% of the budget and careful stewardship of our expenses, we have managed. The OCM Annual Fund’s goal is to sustain and lift the levels of excellence we have established without compromise.

MEMBERSHIP

In February of each year, we will ask you to renew your membership to support the upcoming season. Donations from our individual and business members make it possible for us to bring quality opera productions and events to mid-Vermont. We are grateful for the support of our members, sponsors, donors and the business community. The Opera Company of Middlebury is an independent organization solely responsible for its own fundraising and budget. Click HERE for details on individual and business membership.

Bequest

Another way to help the OCM is through a bequest as a beneficiary through your estate. When you name the OCM as a beneficiary in your will, you will help to continue live, professional opera in the area.

Employer Matching Gift

If your employer matches gifts to non-profit organizations, your gift to OCM can be worth twice as much. Matching gift programs are set up as a way for a company to make charitable contributions to organizations that are important to their employees and, in some cases, their retired employees.
Check with your company’s Human Resources Department to learn whether your company has such a program. Complete and submit their matching gift form.

Thank You !
