The Met is posting a different opera each evening and keeping it available for almost 24 hours. Most of these operas were initially shown in theaters as HD broadcasts but the Met is also digging into its archives to pull up Live at Lincoln Center broadcasts first shown over commercial television networks. Additionally, about every major opera company and every major orchestra is offering free online streaming of their past productions.
