The Maid of Orleans Postponed

Dear Friends of OCM,

The Opera Company of Middlebury regrets to announce that we are postponing our production of The Maid of Orleansuntil next season. Keeping our patrons, singers, and staff safe is our top priority during the COVID-19 coronaviruspandemic.

This postponement is very disappointing – for all of us. The OCM board would like to thank the cast and staff for the exceptional work that they have already put into this production. The good news is that we will produce the opera at the Town Hall Theater in June 2021!

Please mark your calendars for OCM performances of Tchaikovksy’s The Maid of Orleans on June 4, 6, 10, 12, 2021. We will also continue to plan for our production of Bernstein’s Candide in October 2020, with performances at Town Hall Theater on October 9-11, followed by a tour to two venues around the state. Watch for more information to come.

If you purchased tickets for The Maid of Orleans for this June, you may choose either to receive a refund or to donate the ticket price to the Opera Company of Middlebury. The Town Hall Theater Box Office staff will contact you, and they will handle the refund or donation.

Since 2004, the Opera Company of Middlebury has produced 29 operas and concerts. With your help, we will continue to bring the transformative power of live opera to our community. Thank you more than ever for your support. We look forward to welcoming you back to the opera soon.
