Opera Company of Middlebury is offering a very limited number of free tickets for persons under the age of 26 to each of our performances of Offenbach’s comedic opera Orpheus in the Underworld. Sung in French with English supertitles projected above the stage.
First come, first serve! To take advantage of this opportunity, please call the THT Box Office 802-382-9222 Mon-Fri, noon to 5pm. Free tickets are not available online.
Dates: 7:30pm on Friday, June 3, and Thursday, June 9, plus two matinees at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 5 and Saturday, June 11. Running time with one intermission is approx. 2 hrs 15 min.
Come and explore this wonderful art form with Middlebury’s nationally renowned professional opera company! We hope to have a large turnout. There is a limited number of these free tickets, so young persons will need to contact the box office soon.

NOTE: When the young person calls the box office for their free ticket, they must provide their name, email and mobile phone number, and can reserve tickets for others under 26. OCM will follow up to obtain for each free ticket-holder the following: name, age, school (if any), mobile, email, and mailing address – so that we can send a reminder to ensure they will show up at the performance, as well as send follow-up info afterwards.
