Broadcast from the Metropolitan Opera House

Met Live in HD operas not available at Town Hall Theater can be seen at Essex Cinema.

Thank you for your interest in this program, featuring The Met's productions broadcast at the Town Hall Theater. Due to construction, we are unable to present the Metropolitan Opera's Live in HD at this time. 

Not to worry! The Met: Live in HD will return to the Town Hall Theater as soon as possible. To be notified about any new broadcasts, please join our email list here.

In the meantime, there are two alternative ways to view Met in HD productions this season:

  1. Essex Cinemas: The closest theater showing the Met HD series this fall will be Essex Cinemas in Essex Junction. You can book your ticket here.

  2. Met Stream: For those in the Middlebury area, you can stream the operas live from home through the Met's streaming service at https://metstream.metopera.org/.
